On Sunday, May 18, 2025, the non-profit organization Bohemindo organized a unique beer talk titled “Hitchhiking Around the World with Tomáš Poláček.” The event took place in the pleasant environment of Café Batavia in Jakarta. The beer talk format created a relaxed atmosphere that encouraged open discussion and sharing of personal impressions.

The main guest of the evening was Tomáš Poláček, a Czech journalist, writer, and fearless traveler who chooses a raised thumb as his main mode of transportation. His current journey leads all the way to distant Osaka, Japan, where he set off once again in his characteristic way – by hitchhiking.
